Students will not have homework this week, but I look forward to hearing their recitation of "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" tomorrow. I would like to tell you about a Dystopian Book Project due on April 13th. Students will get a copy of the project by the end of the week. I would like to give plenty of time because they will have to read a novel. Please ask them to see a copy of the project by Friday. I will also upload a copy in the coming days.
I hope everyone enjoyed the snow. It caused us to get a bit behind, but we will catch up! I have given students a reading comprehension passage to complete for homework. It will be due on Tuesday, January 17th. Students should read it, annotate it, and answer the questions. The title is "The Prince of Pop Art".

Homework this week is to read, annotate, and answer (3) questions on an article given in class on Monday. It is entitled "How Can Orange be Blind Boy's Favorite Color?" Due Friday, Dec. 9th.
Friday there will be a test on Act I of "A Christmas Carol". We have been reading it aloud in class. As long as students have been paying attention in class, they will do fine. If students want to review Act I, it is the version by Israel Horovitz. It can be found online. The Act II test will be either next week or on the 19th or 20th of December, depending how far we get. In addition to Act II, that test will include drama terms the students have in their notebooks.
Students were given an article to read and annotate. The annotation directions are on the front page. The article is entitled "Isaiah Bird: A Wrestler with No Legs and No Excuses". There are questions on the back of the article to answer. Due on Friday, Nov. 18th.
